Ball Infield Maintenance Guidelines

It is in the best interest of user groups and the City that infields are properly maintained.

User groups must assist with the following:

Do not sweep standing water onto the outfield. Remove water by digging a small hole, scooping into a

pail, disposing away from field, refilling hole, and lightly applying drying agent (no sawdust).

Repair depressions using infield material. Keep storage bins tidy. Clean up whiting spills and dispose of

empty bags

- Rake home plate and pitcher areas

- Remove garbage

- Ensure fieldhouse/washrooms are locked
